New Years 2010, we were down in Peru and since then this footage has been just waiting for edits.
Seeing it all again is a reminder for how wonderful the Med to One team is, how great camera and sound were, and just how thankful we are for your support. Enjoy, and if you would ever like to accompany Med to One down to Peru, please contact us at info@med2one.org.

Hit the Ground Running.
Safe and sound, and on the ground! Three planes, a lost piece of luggage and a bucket-o-bolts Nissan taxi ride behind us, we're in Lima and ready to share medicine, and the inspiration of the coordinators and Med to One's patients, whose lives are being turned around. Amen. PS - this is our first video update so your feedback is appreciated.

Day 7 - Jon
It was probably the altitude that did me in, but the guinea pig meat at the farmhouse probably didn´t help. But how could I say no? Of course, everyone else did, so it was left up to me to keep the congeniality alive. I guess in a way, I was the guinea pig. That was two days ago, and I haven´t eaten any guinea pig since. As a matter of fact, I´ve eaten only cream crackers and escaped the congeniality to lie in my bed as much as possible. It could be worse, I could have smeared the red worm dye on my lips as lipstick like Tauni did! Cochineal - Google it, if you doubt me! No matter how bad I felt though, at least it wasn´t cold like New Jersey. Jon.

day four at peru - jono crefeld
Today, after taking the night bus back from Huaraz, we were all groggy and immediatly after arriving at Raquel's house, we set up to go to bed. we woke up at around 10 AM, and raquel and mom went iut to buy bus tickets.(Woohoo!! more buses!)Dad edited for most of the day, and after the bus ticket buyers got back, we went to Pamplona, where sixty patients currently live in shacks, with me filming on my small flip camera. We visited about five patients before we had to return to the house to pack and leave for the bus, which I have to do right about now. Adios!

day one at peru - jono crefeld
OK, so this is almost the end of our first day in peru. It's welcome too, especially after a two hour bus ride and an hour and a half of inspecting bus companies. We were trying to buy bus tickets to Huaraz, and we eventually succeeded, but only by going back to the first company we started at! Anyway, we have an eight hour bus ride to Huaraz tonight, but we bought the seats that recline! Woohoo! All in all, it was a good day, and i hope we have many more. Jono out.
P.S please pray for the many people we are tryin to help, and pray for them to be able to live a normal life.

Peru Support Dec. 09
Going to Peru to support Med to One, visiting patients and filming webisodes ... I didn't plan this one, but looks like we're sleeping on overnight buses and on floors. Your charity dollars at work! I better get my sleep now.
